The AZDome PG16S Full Mirror is the latest high-end 2K + FullHD dashcam from AZDome with a unique mirror or inside mirror design. This AZDome PG16S Full Mirror 2K has a very large 11 inch Touchscreen LCD integrated into the full mirror which when combined with the FullHD rear camera forms a digital rearview mirror.
By using the rear camera, visibility through the mirror can be improved by up to 400%, especially in the dark and in poor weather conditions. The AZDome PG16S Full Mirror 2K also has a parking mode, G-sensor and comes with a GPS antenna and 32gb Micro SD card.
The AZDome PG16S Full Mirror 2K is a uniquely designed 2CH dashcam and can be placed over rearview mirror with the included rubber brackets. With its large 11 inch Touchscreen LCD screen it forms a high quality digital rearview mirror. The image of the FullHD rear camera is displayed fully digitally on the large LCD screen and with one 'swipe' on the screen you can switch between the front and rear camera.
With one push of the button the screen can also be turned off or put in 'standby' mode where time and date are displayed. In this way, the AZDome PG16S Full Mirror 2K functions as a normal (non-digital) rearview mirror again.
Due to its handy design and rear camera, the AZDome PG16S Full Mirror 2K is also ideal to use as a parking aid when parking. The rear camera comes with an extra cable that can be connected to the power supply of the reversing light. If the car is put into reverse, the rear camera is automatically displayed in large format together with parking aid indicators.
The AZDome PG16S Full Mirror 2K Full Mirror has a convenient automatic Time Lapse parking mode function to secure the car when parked. In this Time Lapse mode, the camera takes a picture every second and later plays it back as video. This has a distinctive character that makes it appear to be played through. Because of the Time Lapse mode, the videos do not take up too much space and can therefore be recorded for a very long time without the SD card becoming full. In combination with the Continuous Power Supply, the parking mode automatically turns on when the car ignition is turned off and resumes normal recording when the car is started.
Note: To use parking mode, the AZDome Mini USB 3-wire Continuous Power Supply is required (see accessories), parking mode cannot be activated manually.
The AZDome PG16S Full Mirror 2K films with razor sharp 2K 1440p resolution in 30fps at the front and FullHD 1080p at the rear. This ensures that many details such as license plates and people are recognizable in the image. The rear camera is connected to the front camera with a long 6-meter cable and also receives power through this cable, so no additional power supply is needed.
For longer vehicles, a 10m extension cable is available for the rear camera (see accessories). Useful if you want to use the dashcam in a camper or caravan for example.
With the supplied GPS module for the AZDome PG16S Full Mirror 2K, the current coordinates are tracked and the speed is displayed on screen. With the special software from AZDome the locations of recorded images can later be displayed on the computer using these coordinates.
The AZDome PG16S Full Mirror 2K supports MicroSD cards up to 128gb, which enables 20 hours of FullHD filming. A 32gb Micro SD card is supplied as standard, which is good for approximately 5 hours of recordings.
The AZDome PG16S Full Mirror 2K has a wide-angle lens of 170 degrees at the front and 150 degrees at the back. This ensures that a very large area around the car is captured.
The AZDome PG16S Full Mirror 2K dashcam automatically starts filming when the car is started and stops filming when the car is turned off. So you don't have to look at it when it's hanging in the car.
With the built-in G-sensor, the dashcam notices when you have had an accident. On impact, images are automatically stored securely so they are not lost. They can no longer be overwritten or deleted via the dashcam.
The AZDome PG16S Full Mirror 2K has the ability to not only film but also to take pictures in 12 megapixels. Useful, for example, to record the damage after an accident.
The AZDome PG16S Full Mirror 2K has a built-in microphone so that sound is also recorded. The microphone can also be turned off if desired.
The current time and date are always displayed on screen so that you can later see at what time the recordings were made.
This AZDome dashcam comes with a handy Dual USB cigarette plug and separate power cable. In the plug there are two USB ports, one of which is used to power the dashcam. The other USB port can be used for charging other devices such as your smartphone.
