Action cams are special cameras that you can take anywhere to film. These rechargeable cameras are therefore also ideal to use as dashcam. You charge the camera at home and in no time you place it in the car. With such a rechargeable dashcam, you no longer need to connect the dashcam in the car with cables. There are suction cup holders available to mount the rechargeable dashcam in any car.

With a full battery you can film with a rechargeable dashcam for about an hour and a half. Optionally, you can often order an extra separate battery so you can extend the recording time. An action cam or rechargeable dashcam has a special "Car mode" where it records in Loop recording and automatically turns on and off with the ignition (if you connect it to power).
