This comprehensive LUKAS H939 FullHD is a great dashcam packed with great features. On the 3.5-inch IPS touchscreen LCD screen, all recordings are razor sharp and the menu is easily accessible. The image quality is second to none due to the SONY Exmor R sensor in the front and Exmor sensor in the rear camera. The LUKAS H939 FullHD is also one of the few cameras with a total storage capacity of 2000gb (2TB).

The LUKAS H939 Duo dashcam is equipped with the latest SONY Starvis sensor in the front camera and the Starvis sensor in the rear camera. These sensors guarantee the very sharpest 1080p FullHD video quality, both front and rear so. The front camera records images at 60 fps with a 145-degree wide-angle lens. The rear camera has a 130-degree wide-angle lens and records images at 60fps.
This LUKAS H939 FullHD has a bright 3.5-inch touchscreen LCD screen with 489x320 pixels. On the screen all videos can be viewed live and recorded videos can be played back. Also, the LCD screen can be conveniently used to change menu settings. The front and rear cameras can be switched with a single press of a button, also both cameras can be displayed simultaneously. This also makes the H939 Duo very useful as a reverse camera.
The ADAS system on this LUKAS H393 is a built-in Advanced Driver Assistant System. This system supports the driver while driving in three ways:
FCWS: "Forward Collision Warning System. This system issues a warning when a car in front is approached at high speed. For example, the system alerts when a traffic jam forms in front of the car. With a good GPS signal, the current speed is known and the camera can make a good assessment of the situation around the car.
LDWS: "Lane Departure Warning System. When the car is in danger of changing lanes on the highway, the camera can signal.
FVSA: 'Forward Vehicle Start Alarm'. Do you also sometimes fail to pay attention when you're at the traffic light? This system alerts you when a vehicle ahead starts to move away, such as at a stoplight or in a traffic jam.
*The ADAS system works better in some locations than others depending on the type of (highway) road. On narrow roads, for example, the LDWS system can sound an alarm faster than on wide roads.
This LUKAS H939 FullHD has the ability to save videos in continuous parking mode via Time Lapse. With time lapse a picture is taken every second which can later be played back as an accelerated video. The big advantage of time lapse is that a lot more data can be stored on the SD card. With the standard 32gb SD card, over 15 hours of videos can be stored in park mode.
The LUKAS H939 FullHD can record images in five different ways:
Regular Recording: The regular recordings made by the camera are stored on the SD card in fragments of 3 or 5 minutes. When the SD card is full, the oldest images are automatically deleted and overwritten with new fragments.
Park Recording: In parking mode, a 30-second clip is saved to the regular SD card when motion is detected. Again, the 10 seconds before and 20 seconds after detection are saved.
Continuous parking recording: In this mode, a picture is taken every second that can later be played back as a time lapse video. In this way, with a 32gb SD card, about 15 hours of video can be stored.
Emergency recording: A manual 30-second Emergency recording can be started at the touch of a button and is saved on the MicroSD card.
The LUKAS H939 Duo has two cameras to record a large area inside and/or around the car. The front camera mounts on the window or dashboard and is the main module. It contains all connections, the 3.5-inch touchscreen LCD screen and SD cards. The second camera of the LUKAS H939 Duo that can be attached to any location is connected to the front camera by a long cable (cable 5 meters included). The images are simultaneously recorded on the SD cards and can be viewed on the 3.5-inch touchscreen LCD screen.
The LUKAS H939 Duo, like the other LUKAS dashcams, has an exceptionally high storage capacity, up to 2000 gigabytes. In practice, therefore, more than 120 hours of regular recordings can be stored on the SD card and 120 hours of event and emergency recordings on the MicroSD card, totaling about 240 hours!
The H939 Duo comes standard with a 32gb SD card from LUKAS. This LUKAS SD card is designed specifically for use in LUKAS cameras. They withstand many read and write cycles and can withstand large temperature changes. In addition, they are fast enough to handle the many data of FullHD recordings.
Through the built-in GPS in the H939 Duo, all coordinates of the locations where is stored. Also, because of the GPS, the current speed can be displayed in the picture.
The LUKAS H939 Duo is capable of taking the best shots in all weather conditions by using interchangeable filters. By default, the H939 is equipped with a 37mm UV filter. With the optional 37mm CPL filter, crisp clear shots can be taken even in sunny conditions. The CPL filter is like sunglasses for the lens and prevents harmful radiation from the sun and unwanted reflections in the image.
The convenient format-free feature in this LUKAS H939 Duo dashcam eliminates the need to format the SD cards. The software handles the formatting itself so that the SD cards and the camera will always function perfectly and work together. In addition to automatic formatting, this system also guarantees better preservation of the SD card, fewer read and write errors and no loss of data.
The smart LUKAS H939 Duo dashcam has a built-in low voltage cut-off system. Because of this system, the dashcam senses when the car's battery is about to run out and, in that case, immediately turns off the camera. The minimum voltage can be set to account for the type of car and season. Because of this built-in system, the H939 Duo can be used without worry to secure car when parked.
The LUKAS H939 Duo has a security LED built into the front and rear camera. This allows potential vandals to be warned that a dashcam is being filmed in the car. The LEDs can be turned on and off in the menu if desired.
Using the best materials and the most careful assembly, the LUKAS H939 Duo can withstand extreme temperatures. The camera can operate at temperatures between -20˚C and +70˚C.
