The Motocam C4.3 4CH is in fact a combination of a truck camera system and dashcam. The Motocam C4.3 4CH has four cameras with infrared LEDs making everything around the truck clearly visible, also at night. The Motocam C4.3 4CH has two cameras for the sides of the truck, one for the front and one rear with a 15 meter long cable.
This Motocam C4.3 4CH VGA is a basic truck dashcam which can also be used as a normal truck camera system. The big 4.3 inch TFT display - showing one camera at a time - can be used to have great visibility around the truck. The video that is shown on the LCD screen is also the only video being stored on the SD card. So not all video’s are stored on the SD card simultaneously.
The Motocam C4.3 4CH VGA is equipped with four VGA (640*480p) cameras, all with infrared LEDs for great night vision. The resolution of the camera is good enough to assess the situations around the truck, but don’t expect to record license plates at night (for example). All cameras are waterproof and can the mounted outside of the truck for the best visibility.

Thanks to the included Bluetooth switch it very easy to change the cameras on the LCD screen. One press on the button changes the camera shown on the screen. This makes driving a lot easier and safer for the driver.
Apart from the Bluetooth switch, this Motocam C4.3 4CH VGA also comes with a complete remote control to control the menu of the camera.
This Motocam C4.3 4CH VGA is equipped with loop recording so the dashcam will keep recording even when the SD card is full. Videos are stored in short files of 3, 5 or 10 minutes, when the SD card is full the oldest file will be automatically deleted so there is space for a new file. This way you are sure the last period of time is stored on the SD card, the length of this period depending on the size of the SD card.
When powered by the cigarette power plug, the Motocam C4.3 4CH VGA will start recording automatically when the car is turned on and will stop recording when the car is turned off. Note that this function will only work in cars that provide power trough the cigarette port when the ignition is on. When power is also provided when the ignition is off, the Motocam C4.3 will stay on and has to be turned on and off manually.
The built-in G-sensor in this Motocam C4.3 4CH VGA registers when you have an accident and in that case saves the current file in a special emergency folder on the SD card. Files in this folder cannot be erased by the loop recording.
This Motocam C4.3 4CH VGA has a built-in microphone. The microphone can be muted in the menu.
The current time and date of the recordings are visible in the lower corner of the videos. This setting can also be turned off in the menu.
The Motocam C4.3 4CH VGA has a built in screensaver. The screensaver turns off the screen after 1 minute in order to not distract the driver too much. The camera will keep recording when the screen is turned off and the screen can be reactivated at any time with one press on the Bluetooth or OK button. The interval can be changed in the menu or the function can be completely turned off.
The Motocam C4.3 4CH VGA comes with a suction mount for the LCD screen. This makes mounting the screen on the windscreen very easy.
The Motocam C4.3 4CH VGA comes with 4 meter long 5V/3A cigarette power cable to supply the dashcam with power. The power cable is suitable for 12V and 24V vehicles. The use of another (permanent) power cable it not possible without cutting the standard cable because of the special connectors for power and cameras.
Watching the recorded videos of the Motocam C4.3 4CH VGA can be done on the PC or on the dashcam’s own LCD screen. The videos are stored on the SD card as normal MP4 files and can be watched with every standard video player or with the special GPS player.
The Motocam C4.3 4CH VGA has a Micro SD slot supporting maximum 64gb Micro SD cards. This amount to about 35 hours of VGA videos.
