The ThiEye Moto One films with FullHD 1080p at the front and HD Ready 720p at the back. The videos from both cameras are stored separately on the SD card and can be viewed later.
Both cameras of the ThiEye Moto One are IP67 water and dust resistant and therefore withstand the most extreme weather conditions. The screen module is not waterproof and should therefore be attached to the bike in a dry place.
A handy function on the ThiEye Moto One is the parking mode. When you activate the parking mode in the menu, the camera starts a short recording of 30 seconds when a vibration is detected. After this the camera turns off again. In this way, the ThiEye Moto One is able to secure the bike while parking.
The ThiEye Moto One comes with all necessary accessories to mount the dashcam inconspicuously and out of sight. The cameras are very compact and come with a 2.5 meter cable so the dashcam can be mounted on any motorcycle.
The ThiEye Moto One supports MicroSD cards up to 32gb, this allows about 10 hours in HD filming.
The large 3.0 inch LCD screen makes setting the functions very easy. On the screen you can also see what exactly is being filmed, so you can adjust the dashcam. The screen is not waterproof and should be mounted in a safe and dry place, such as the buddy seat or in a protective cover on the handlebar.
Both cameras have a wide-angle lens of 120 degrees, this is enough to record a large part of the environment without distorting the image too much.
Because the ThiEye Moto One comes standard with a hardwire cable, the dashcam can easily be connected to the battery of the motorcycle. The inverter in the power supply converts the current from 12v to the required 5v.
The ThiEye Moto One dashcam automatically starts filming when the engine is started and stops filming when it is turned off. So you don't have to worry about it any more after it is attached.
The built-in 300mAh battery in the ThiEye Moto One allows the camera to be used for about 15 minutes after the power is turned off and is used, among other things, to capture footage while parking.
Due to the built-in G-sensor, the dashcam notices when you have had an unexpected collision. On impact, images are automatically stored securely so they are not lost. They can not be overwritten or deleted via the dashcam.
The ThiEye Moto One has a built-in microphone so that sound is also recorded. The microphone can also be turned off if desired.
The current time and date are always displayed on screen so that at a later moment it can be shown at what time the respective recordings were made.
