The UTOUR C2M 4K is UTOUR's flagship model. Besides being a dashcam, this C2M is a complete safety system for your car. The extensive ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistant System) on this dashcam warns you as a driver in all kinds of dangerous situations. In addition, a 3D monitor can be connected to digitally display the environment around the car. The C2M records in razor-sharp 4K resolution. Thanks to the Wifi, images are easy to view via the UTOUR App and via the built-in GPS receiver the speed and location are always tracked.
UTOUR is perhaps the most advanced dashcam brand when it comes to ADAS technology. In fact, this C2M alerts you as a driver to all sorts of risky situations:
PWS (Pedestrian Warning system): Warns of impending situations involving pedestrians and other non-motorized vehicles such as bicyclists and steppers.
FCWS (Forward Collision Warning system): Warns when approaching vehicle in front at (too) high speed.
FDWS (Forward Departure Warning system): Warns if the car in front has departed from standstill (e.g., at traffic lights).
LDWS (Lane Departure Warning system): Warns if you are in danger of changing lanes unnoticed.
The driving assistance systems have a range of about 60 meters and can be turned on and off individually. Certain systems, depending on the type of road and further infrastructure, can sometimes be more reliable than other times. Therefore, never rely blindly on such systems and always stay alert as a driver.
The unique feature of this UTOUR C2M is the optional 3D monitor that can be connected to the camera. This monitor displays the environment around the camera in digital version. People, cars and other vehicles are recognized by the AI technology and alerts are based on this. As a result, the 3D monitor actually provides a glimpse into the dashcam's AI brain.
The C2M 4K is equipped with the latest 8.0MP image sensor that guarantees the sharpest Ultra 4K videos. It films at a resolution of 3840p*2160p in 30fps. The HDR technology guarantees perfect image quality in all weather conditions. Also, the dashcam can take photos in 18M pixels.
A FullHD rear camera can be connected to the UTOUR C2M 4K (note: standard not included). The rear camera films in 1080p 30fps resolution.
The C2M 4K can be expanded with a FullHD 135˚ rear camera that can be mounted on the rear window or bumper. The rear camera is connected to the front camera via an included 6-meter cable. The cameras record simultaneously and the images are stored separately on the SD card. No additional power connection is required for the rear camera; it receives power through the cable that connects it to the front camera.
UTOUR dashcams have the ability to operate them via Voice control. Certain commands such as 'Lock video' (store video securely) and 'Take Picture' (take picture) ensure that you always have your hands free.
The C2M 4K is equipped with wifi and therefore all images can be easily viewed via smartphone. The Wifi has a range of about 5 meters. The UTOUR App is available for iOS (Apple) and Android phones and tablets. Through the app, the images can be viewed and downloaded so the SD card no longer needs to be taken out of the camera.
The C2M 4K has a built-in GPS module. Through this GPS module the speed can be displayed in the image and also the coordinates of the places where filming was done are kept. This makes it possible to see later with the supplied software exactly where certain recordings were made.
The C2M 4K has a sturdy self-adhesive mount that ensures that the dashcam stays securely in place and that recordings do not contain unnecessary vibrations. The mount is mounted on the windshield with a 3M sticker and the dashcam is clicked into the mount. The lens is rotatable in all directions so that it can always be adjusted to the correct position. The camera comes with several self-adhesive 3M stickers and removable static pads. By placing these on the windscreen in front of the holder you can remove the entire holder from the windscreen without leaving stripes.
The C2M 4K dashcam features a convenient automatic parking mode. The park mode features three options:
Only Time lapse: The camera films continuously with Time lapse, including any rear camera. In this mode, the camera takes a picture every second that can later be played back as accelerated video. Time lapse is an economical recording mode which means that the dashcam does not consume too much power and data. Therefore, up to 30 times more videos can be stored on the SD card.
Only Motion: The camera is in standby mode (is on but not recording). When motion is detected, a normal 1-minute recording is started. This function only works for the front camera.
Off: The camera continues filming as usual at the set resolution. Parking mode is not enabled.
When a vibration is detected in parking mode, the current recording is always saved securely so that it cannot be overwritten.
* The automatic parking mode of the C2M 4K works only in conjunction with the optionally available UTOUR C2M Continuous Power Supply and cannot be manually turned on and off. In combination with the continuous power supply, the camera automatically goes into park mode when the car ignition is turned off and normal recording starts when you start the car again. Ideal to use this C2M 4K as security for the car.
The C2M 4K is equipped with loop recording. This means that the camera just keeps filming when the SD card is full. The oldest fragments on the SD card are then deleted and automatically overwritten for new images. The length of the fragments can be set to 3, 5 or 10 minutes. Loop recording can also be turned off, in which case the camera takes one long picture. Note that the camera will stop recording if the SD card is full.
The UTOUR C2M supports Micro SD cards up to 128gb. This is enough for about 10-12 hours of 4K video.
The HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology enables the camera to generate sharp images at very high and very low light intensities. As a result, the camera records razor-sharp images both in daylight and at night in low light conditions.
This C2M 4K has a wide-angle lens of 150˚ at the front and 135˚ at the rear (optional). As a result, a very large area is observed.
The UTOUR C2M 4K dashcam automatically starts filming when the car is started. So you no longer have to look at it when it is hanging in the car. The condition is that it is connected to the power supply in the car with the cigarette power supply. If you use the optional Continuous power supply, the camera will automatically switch on and off in parking mode.
Because of the built-in G-sensor, the dashcam notices when you've been in an accident. Upon impact, images are automatically stored securely so they are not lost. They cannot be overwritten or deleted via the dashcam.
The UTOUR C2M 4K has a built-in microphone so that sound is also recorded. The microphone can be easily turned on and off with one touch of the screen.
The date, time and license plate number can be displayed at the bottom of each video so that it can later be shown when and with which vehicle certain recordings were made. This can be critical in assessing situations and determining culpability for police and/or insurance.
This UTOUR dashcam comes with a convenient 3.5-meter USB cigarette power supply with additional USB port. The other USB port can be used for charging other devices such as your cell phone.
